Catalyst Hosts Mindshare SAS and USB Courses

Two Technical Classes Conducted in First Two Weeks at New Facility

San Jose, CA, August 21, 2006- Catalyst Enterprises, Inc., a leading provider of advanced design
verification and protocol analysis tools for PCI Express®, Serial ATA (SATA), Serial Attached SCSI (SAS),
USB 2.0, Certified Wireless USB, Fibre Channel, and other high performance I/O technologies, today
announced completion of two technical training courses at its new facility in San Jose, CA. These courses
were taught by Mindshare, Inc., attended by engineers throughout the U.S. and Canada, and augmented
by live test examples provided by Catalyst technical staff. Additional courses are planned.
